Shop & Stroll: Square One Shopping Centre + Celebration Square

Whether you’re looking to treat yourself or just enjoy a cozy evening stroll, the Celebration Square + Square One combo is a win.

Right across from Celebration Square, Square One offers over 300 retail stores and more than 100 dining options making it the ideal spot for shopping, grabbing a bite, or simply browsing around.
And, when the weather gets chilly, Celebration Square transforms into a magical winter wonderland, with the city’s largest outdoor ice rink (skate rentals available on site).

Waterfront charm: Port Credit

For a calm, picturesque getaway from the urban buzz, head toward Port Credit, often called Mississauga’s “Village on the Lake.” Wander the waterfront path, admire the marina, enjoy relaxed vibes, charming boutiques, cafés, and take in the lake views.
Trust us, it’s perfect for a romantic winter walk.

Foodie picks: Michelin-recognized (and beyond)

Whether you’re craving spicy dosas, refined modern Indian flavours or Mediterranean plates, Mississauga’s culinary diversity won’t disappoint.

Here’re a few standout restaurants recognized by the Michelin Guide:

  • Guru Lukshmi: a beloved South Indian vegetarian restaurant, famous for its dosas, idlys, vadas and flavorful home-style cooking.
  • Tamarind Modern Indian Bistro: Expect rich curries, creative small plates, and plenty of vegetarian options: all served in a stylish, lively setting. Perfect for warming up after a day at Celebration Square.
  • Mama Fatma: this restaurant serves Mediterranean / Middle Eastern dishes, ideal for those looking to explore global flavours.
