What is APIK?

APIK is a FREE event in the heart of Montreal for adrenaline enthusiasts – March 1-3, 2024 in the Quartier latin (Saint-Denis/Ontario street).

The mountain spirit comes to town, it’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy winter with family and friends.

Is APIK free for the public?

YES!

Who is APIK for?

For all the warriors who want to brave the winter, music lovers (or not), riders… so quite a lot of people.

How do I register for the ski and snowboard competition?

It’s here!!
Wearing a helmet is strongly recommended. We do not provide helmets or ski/snowboard equipment on site, so please bring your own!

If my child is a minor, can he/she register for the competition?

Yes, he/she will be able to participate in the competition.

Can I work during APIK?

Will there be food and drink on site?

We invite you to visit our blogs that gather the different restaurants and bars present on Saint-Denis street.

How do I get there?

Public transportation!

The event takes place in Montreal in the Quartier latin, at the junction of Ontario and Saint-Denis streets. We recommend you to go by public transportation. We are a few minutes walk from Sherbrooke and Berri-UQAM stations, on the orange line. It is also possible to come by bus. For all public transportation routes and schedules, visit the STM website.

Is APIK accessible to people with disabilities?

Yes, there is no designated area for the mobility impaired, but accessible restrooms are available.

Will there be restrooms on site?

Yes, there will be restrooms available on site.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, APIK is a street event, so you can bring your dog. Dogs must be on a leash.

What is not allowed on the site?
  • Illegal drugs
  • Firearms, knives, weapons of all kinds. It’s a safety issue. Use your good judgment.
  • Imitation weapons
Can I bring and consume cannabis on site?

Under the new law, smoking or vaping cannabis is now prohibited in all public places. As of January 1, 2020, anyone under the age of 21 is prohibited from purchasing or possessing cannabis.

What do I do if I lose something on the site?

Email us at [email protected] the day after the event to find out if your item has been recovered. After 15 days, unclaimed items will be donated to charity.

APIK is not responsible for stolen or broken items. Please be sure to keep your belongings safe.
