What is APIK?

APIK is a winter playground right in the heart of downtown Mississauga, Ontario, from February 7 to 9, 2025, at Celebration Square.

The event features ski and snowboard competitions for winter sports enthusiasts. It also offers musical performances, pop-ups, an afterparty… a must-attend event!

Is APIK free to the public?

YES!

Who is APIK for?

APIK is the perfect event for winter lovers, but also for the curious.
With friends, family, young or old, it’s the ideal opportunity to marvel and fully embrace the magic of the winter season!

How do I register for the ski and snowboard competition?

It’s right HERE!

Wearing a helmet is highly recommended. We do not provide protective helmets, ski equipment, or snowboards on-site, so make sure to bring your own gear!

If my child is a minor, can he/she register for the competition?

Yes, they will be able to participate in the competition if registered by an adult. Please note that the competition is for advanced-level athletes only.

Will there be food and drink on site?

Yes, the event is collaborating with Food Trucks. The list will be available soon.

How do I get there?

The event takes place at Celebration Square in Mississauga (Ontario).

Airport: Toronto Pearson International Airport
GO Transit Train: The Milton (MI) line of GO Transit serves the Cooksville GO station.

We recommend using public transportation or carpooling.

MiWay Bus:
Routes 107, 109, 26, and 66 serve the closest stops to Celebration Square, such as Burnhamthorpe Rd at Living Arts Dr and City Centre Transit Terminal Platform D (5 to 10 minutes walking distance from Celebration Square).

Is APIK accessible to people with disabilities?

Yes.

Will there be restrooms on site?

Yes, there will be restrooms available on site.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, APIK is a street event, and we love pets! Dogs must be on a leash.

What is not allowed on the site?

-Smoking
-Illegal drugs
-Firearms, knives, and weapons of all kinds. This is a matter of safety. Use your good judgment
-Imitation weapons are prohibited

However, we recommend bringing warm clothing, gloves, and a toque since APIK takes place outdoors.

What do I do if I lose something on the site?

If you’re still on-site, you can go to the Accreditation & Merch area.

Otherwise, contact Mathilde as soon as possible to check if your item has been found. After 15 days, unclaimed items will be donated to charity.

APIK is not responsible for stolen or damaged items. Please make sure to keep your personal belongings secure.
